# Monroe County 2024 general election

2024 general election. Read `manifest.json` first.

State the election date, Monroe-only scope, denominator and every relevant

all `null` and withheld values. Do not join source precinct IDs to current map

## Rules

1. Select contests by exact `name` or stable `id`.
2. Treat every state and federal result as Monroe County's reported slice, not
   the whole contest.
3. Include all choices when calculating or comparing vote share. The published
   `share_pct` already uses that denominator.
4. The source-precinct table covers President and Vice President only. Keep
   `REP`, `DEM`, and `OTHER` together. A null group means the complete precinct
   family was withheld; do not estimate it.
5. Do not join these precinct identifiers to current map boundaries, calculate
   precinct turnout, or call a vote leader a certified winner.
